The year is 2040. The Earth has been turned into a barren desert. Amidst the disaster, you travel the wastelands searching for someone important to you... and reach the rumored 'final oasis' of this world.

Features include:

  • Jumping and dashing through various obstacles
  • Unlocking various skills as you progress through the levels
  • Reading notes left behind by various people along your journey

CONTROLS (in case anyone missed the tutorials):

  • Arrows keys: walk (WASD also works but it’s not recommended)
  • Z: jump
  • X: small dash
  • C: use skill
  • V: read note
  • S: change skill

(Note: playable on browser, but downloading the windows version is highly recommended for optimal performance)

(Note 2: there's no real title screen in the game, but you can access the credits in-game by opening the pause menu (esc button) and selecting the gear button)

This is my first solo gamejam project, made in two weeks, and honestly I'm not that displeased with how it turned out. There are places where I wish I had time away from schoolwork to improve on, but as the kids say, 'it is what it is'.

Final footnote I swear: yeahhh game may be *slightly* challenging because I'm not very good at estimating difficulty. Playing on browser makes it worse because the controls tend to be laggier.

Great job!! Unbelievable effort for solo dev'ing in two weeks! Engaging story, cool mechanics (especially the mid-air switching), and nice twist at the end :)
